How to store snacks in Kenya.

Rubbermaid bins all over their kitchen, filled with foods. The background wall is actually the container they live in. That particular wall is their bedroom, off kitchen.

Rubbermaid bins all over their kitchen, filled with foods, as they last a couple months before replenishing in Nairobi. They don't want critters getting into the food. A mouse was caught this week & hopefully he's the one who chewed up the rubber gasket on the pressure cooker. The background wall is actually the container they live in. That particular wall is their bedroom, off kitchen.

  4. Ha, you had to climb OVER those to get to the ladder, to climb up to your bed!!! I think of you every time I walk in there!

You know what tho? I never saw the INside of those containers till this visit! Had we known!!!

We came back from Nairobi with them & they had their 2 mos. supplies, so as we put things away, I understood a little more about those bins!

  5. That bed up there was actually quite comfortable :-) Better than the bed I stayed in at Laz’s. Plus way more exciting to sleep up high. Oh the memories!
