I am surviving without my cell phone!
Yes it IS true. I AM surviving without my cell phone. Actually,I havn’t been bored once here. I’ve loved every minute of it.
We went to the Maasai Mara from Friday to Tuesday. We stayed with the Russells. A missionary family who has lived here for 12 years. It was nice to finally meet them after so long. I’ve always seen pictures of them and I have also heard very good stories. Its just nice to actually meet them face to face.
The kids at the Maasai Mara are so cute. I love seeing all their different smiles. They have very little yet smile so much. There are alot of flies around where the kids are. The kids must be used to them because there are several flies that just lay right on their face. They don’t move one bit.
I like the Maasai Mara much more than Nairobi. Nairobi is city like,Maasai Mara is more open. Plus people are more friendly in the Maasai.
The Russells are leaving to head back to the U.S. on Thursday. We are hoping to eat lunch with them tomorrow.
We have many pictures to show you all. Unfortunately I don’t have as many as Rachel and Jerod do. My camera died after we went on the safari and I didn’t bring my charger with me out there.
I am having a very good time out here. I do miss people at home though.

For now, I will say goodbye. Hopefully I will be able to post again before heading back to the states.

Glad you’re having fun. You might have to fight Kimmy for your cell phone when you get back! Bring us a ton of pictures to put up on the website.
