MCC Travelog

Ha. Jeff informed you that we arrived safely, praise the Lord!

We are now packing a smaller bag to travel to the Masaii Mara to visit Shayne & Teri Russell, the 2 missionaries with which we’ve had great fellowship over the years. I believe their postcard is still on bulletin board at MCC.

John has been there before, I have not so am very excited. Of course animals are involved. Possible game drive. Possible balloon ride. No sense writing what we may do. Will post more after we’ve actually done it.

Laz’s family is great & they are being so hospitable to us. The extra addition outside the rear of the house is super and gave us 2 extra bedrooms AND a complete bathroom! What joy that was to see! Also, there’s at least an add’l. 1/2 bath on the main level in their main house. My biggest fear was 11+ people with one bathroom and, well, foreign foods, etc. No need to elaborate.

Gotta run. We only had a few minutes to get this done & get on the road for our 6 hr. car trip. Laz drives a big van now, trying to keep up with all of us in the U.S. Oh yeah, his house is on a golf course too, ha. I teased him about following us.
